"I had a small auto accident last September and the claim was paid promptly. However, my renewal premium went up quite a lot and I found another insurance company which offers $600+ saving a year. I switched to the other company and informed State Farm to cancel my policy and refund me the paid excess premium. That was mid-December 2023. To this day, I still have not received my refund check. Meanwhile, I have been harassed with late premium notices in the mail, in email, and office has called me twice asking for premium. The excuse given was that the underwriter has to approve my cancelation. I have left a message for Geremy to call me back and it has been a few weeks and I have not heard from him."
